These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, dashboards, APIs and services provided by AHost ("AHost", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked from them: the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Domain Policy, Hosting Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
- The information you give us — name, email, phone, address and GSTIN — must be accurate and kept up to date. Domain registries require accurate contact details and may suspend domains registered with false information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
- Tell us immediately at support@ahost.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Orders, pricing and taxes
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST at the applicable rate is added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
- Domain prices are set by registries and may change. The price shown when you place an order is the price you pay for that order. Premium domains carry registry-set prices that we show and ask you to confirm before payment.
- An order is accepted when payment is received and the service is provisioned. If we cannot provision a service — for example because a domain was registered by someone else moments earlier — the amount is credited back to your wallet.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
3. Wallet
- You can add funds to your AHost wallet and use the balance for orders and renewals.
- Wallet balance does not earn interest, is not a bank account and cannot be transferred to another account.
- Credits from refunds, failed registrations and Refer & earn rewards are added to the wallet. Promotional or reward credit may only be used for AHost services and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
4. Renewals and expiry
- Services are provided for the term you purchase. You are responsible for renewing services you wish to keep.
- Where auto-renew is enabled and your wallet has sufficient balance, we will attempt to renew before expiry. We also send renewal reminders by email, starting 30 days before expiry.
- Services that are not renewed are suspended and later deleted. Expired domains follow the registry's grace and redemption periods described in the Domain Policy; restoring a domain in redemption carries an additional registry fee.
5. Acceptable use
You must use our services lawfully and in line with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate services that break it, that put our network or other customers at risk, or where we are required to do so by law, a court order or a registry.
6. Your content and data
You keep all rights to the content you host with us. You are responsible for that content and for keeping your own backups. Backups we provide are a convenience and are not a guarantee against data loss.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep services available and publish uptime targets for our products. Uptime targets are goals, not guarantees. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where practical.
8. Referral program
Refer & earn rewards are credited only for genuine new customers and only after the qualifying order passes the hold period. Rewards are cancelled if the order is refunded or if we find self-referrals, duplicate accounts or other abuse. We may change or end the program at any time; rewards already credited are not affected.
9. Resellers
Resellers are responsible for their own customers, their pricing, their branding and for complying with these Terms on behalf of those customers. A reseller's breach may lead to suspension of the services they resell.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AHost is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment, breach of these Terms or legal requirements. Where possible we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in your dashboard. Continued use of the services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
