This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) explains what you may not do with AHost services. It protects our customers, our network and the wider internet. Breaking it may lead to suspension or termination without refund.
Prohibited content and activity
You must not use AHost services to:
- host, send or link to content that is illegal in India or in the place where it is accessed;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property;
- host or distribute malware, viruses, ransomware or phishing pages;
- send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or host websites advertised through spam;
- impersonate people, brands or organisations, or collect credentials or payment details under false pretences;
- host child sexual abuse material — we report it to the authorities immediately;
- promote violence, terrorism or hatred against people based on protected characteristics;
- sell illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons or counterfeit products;
- run online gambling or betting that is not licensed where it is offered.
Network and system abuse
You must not:
- attack, scan, probe or attempt unauthorised access to any system or network;
- run denial-of-service attacks or take part in botnets;
- run cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting;
- operate open proxies, open mail relays or anonymous VPN exit nodes without permission;
- use excessive resources in a way that harms other customers (see the Hosting Policy).
Email sending
- Only send email to people who have opted in to receive it.
- Every marketing email must include a working unsubscribe link and honour unsubscribe requests promptly.
- Do not forge headers or hide the origin of messages.
Enforcement
We investigate reports of abuse and may, depending on how serious the issue is:
- contact you and ask you to fix the problem;
- remove or disable specific content;
- suspend the affected service or account;
- terminate the account and report illegal activity to the authorities.
Where the law, a court, a registry or a serious risk to others requires it, we may act without prior notice.

Report abuse to support@ahost.in with as much detail as possible — URLs, email headers, timestamps and logs help us act quickly.
